The resettlement schemes community projects fund is designed to support families arriving under the UK and Afghan resettlement schemes.
Funding is given by the Home Office Integration Tariff, and can only be used for projects and activities that support these families living in the Canterbury district through the following schemes:
Your project should meet one or more of the set project priorities. Up to 5% of the budget can be allocated to core costs such as day-to-day management, utilities, and office support.

Apply for a resettlement schemes fund
Your project must be delivered between 1 March 2025 and 28 February 2026 to support resettled families in Canterbury, which is approximately 30 large families.
Strategic grants support issues related to our corporate priorities, local needs and sector assessments. You can apply for either a £10,000 or £4,000 grant.
Projects that contribute to our Corporate Plan: Returning Pride to our District.
Project delivery funding up to £10,000 will be awarded to projects meeting one or more of our priorities with a maximum 5% service delivery cost.
Service delivery costs include back office expenses, day-to-day management, utilities and office support.
Service delivery costs up to £4,000 will be awarded if your organisation’s core objectives meet one of the strategic grant priorities.
