Statement of Licensing

Consultation on updated Statement of Licensing

The Licensing Act 2003 requires that we publish a 'Statement of Licensing' policy document.

On 7 January 2016, we adopted the previous policy without amendment on an interim basis, so that full consultation could take place on an updated policy to reflect current law and the needs of the Canterbury district.

As part of this process, we're consulting with a range of stakeholders, including responsible authorities, trade representatives and the public.

We'll be holding public consultation sessions in Canterbury, Herne Bay and Whitstable, where you'll be able to find out more and ask our officers any questions you may have.
