Statement of Licensing
Consultation on updated Statement of Licensing
The Licensing Act 2003 requires that we publish a 'Statement of Licensing' policy document.
On 7 January 2016, we adopted the previous policy without amendment on an interim basis, so that full consultation could take place on an updated policy to reflect current law and the needs of the Canterbury district.
As part of this process, we're consulting with a range of stakeholders, including responsible authorities, trade representatives and the public.
We'll be holding public consultation sessions in Canterbury, Herne Bay and Whitstable, where you'll be able to find out more and ask our officers any questions you may have.
- 10 January 2017, 1pm to 3pm, at The King's Hall in Herne Bay
- 17 January 2017, 10am to 12pm, at The Horsebridge Arts and Community Centre in Whitstable
- 24 January 2017, 2.15pm to 4.15pm, at the Military Road council office in Canterbury
