How do I sign up for garden waste collections?

Can I pay by Direct Debit?

No. You need to pay by credit or debit card each year you sign up.

Will you give me a green bin when I sign up?

No - you’ll need to buy a green bin if you don’t already have one. It’ll only take five minutes to buy it online.

How will you know I have a garden waste subscription?

Our crews will be using in-cab technology to see who has a subscription.

You just need to make sure your green bin has your house name or number on it. You can use a number sticker or permanent marker to do this.

When will you collect my green bin?

You can check your collection day online.

Your bins will then be collected on this day every two weeks until 20 December 2024, and then from 27 January 2025 to 21 March 2025.

What should I do if my green bin is not collected?

You must report a missed green bin to us no later than midnight the next day. So for example, if your collection is a Tuesday you must report it by midnight on Wednesday.

If you don't report it within these times, we won't come back to collect it and you'll have to wait until your next scheduled collection.
