Building site noise

See when building noise is allowed and how to report excessive noise.

General permitted hours for building work are:

  • 7.30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday
  • 8am to 1pm on Saturdays
  • no work on Sundays or bank holidays

If work is causing a noise problem outside these hours you can report it to us.
