To apply for a hackney carriage, private hire, or dual driver licence, you need to: 

• have held an EU or UK drivers licence for a minimum of 24 months 
• have no motoring convictions

After you apply you'll be invited to an interview where we will check your documents and discuss your medical form, the knowledge test, and a Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS).

We'll also talk through the driving assessment and safeguarding training you need to complete.
