On-street parking in this area is restricted and parking bays are marked where waiting is limited to two hours maximum between 8am and 6.30pm from Monday to Friday and a parking permit or pay and display ticket must be displayed.
The pay and display bays in Longport and Havelock Street are applicable from 8am to 6.30pm, Monday to Saturday. At weekends and outside these times parking is unrestricted except on yellow lines.
Your on-street parking permit allows you to park in the marked bays without buying a pay and display ticket or following the time restrictions.
There are also a small number of parking bays where waiting is limited to 20 minutes at all times. You cannot use your permit in these bays.

Blue Badge holders
If you have a valid Blue Badge you do not need a resident on-street parking permit to park for an unlimited time in the on-street parking bays. You must display the Blue Badge in your vehicle.
Visitor vouchers
You can buy daily visitor vouchers in advance for guests. You must have proof of residency.
