If you can't vote in person on election day you can ask someone to do it on your behalf. This is called a proxy vote.
You must give the reason that you can't vote in person when you apply.
To vote by proxy in the Canterbury City Council by-elections, you need to register by 5pm on Wednesday 26 February 2025.
To vote by emergency proxy, you need to register by 5pm on Thursday 6 March 2025.
